Kačo: Slovakia closely monitoring migration process in BiH and we want to help

BIHAĆ, December 3 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Slovakia to BiH Martin Kačo visited Una-Sana Canton (USC) and was informed about current situation regarding migrants and refugees, visited some of the temporary shelters in Bihać and cantonal organization of the Red Cross.

"I have read a lot lately about the migration process in this part of BiH and I simply wanted to come and see for myself. I must say that we know all about it in Slovakia and of course we want to help. There is already one donation that went to the Red Cross of Una-Sana Canton and I am certain this cooperation will continue. There are also volunteers from Slovakia in Bihać and I will talk to them about the situation as well," said Slovakian Ambassador to BiH Martin Kačo.

Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton Mustafa Ružnić emphasized that donation from the Republic of Slovakia to the Red Cross of USC and visit of the Slovakian Ambassador are necessary friendly gestures in a difficult situation.

"I would like to thank Ambassador Kačo and we really need this kind of friends at this moment. We informed him about all problems we are facing, considering winter has come. I hope we will continue having support of the Republic of Slovakia and an even better cooperation," added Ružnić.

Republic of Slovakia recently gave a donation worth 34 000 euros to the Red Cross of Una-Sana Canton recently, which will significantly help taking care of thousands of migrants and refugees.
