SARAJEVO, November 28 (FENA) - Leaders of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović and the Democratic Front (DF), Željko Komšić talked today in Sarajevo about the forming of power after the October elections and Komšić again emphasized that DF will only act as the Bosnian and Herzegovinian bloc in all the negotiations.

This block is made up also of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of BiH and Our Party, and Komšić pointed out that all decisions regarding further participation in the government or in case they decide to be the opposition decide will only be within the bloc, announcing that these parties will probably go jointly in the next elections.

The two leaders also discussed the formation of government at the state level, but also said that they are aware of the fact that in this sense it is possible to make other combinations that imply that the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) would not be part of that coalition, but today there was no concrete agreement on this.

With regards to yesterday's session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the DF will never agree to be a party that will be used as a means to install the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) of BiH into the leadership of the House, the FBiH Government or the state level institutions.

SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović stressed that these two parties have a completely same view of the situation in the country and in the region, and that they are aware of the dangers, but also the general needs in the future, which is why SDA has offered to form a wider coalition and announced a meeting with the representatives of the entire Bosnian bloc.

“Such an agreement would be the best for BiH. We are hoping for such an outcome of the situation, but we will not agree for the government to be formed partially denying hundreds of thousands of votes that the citizens gave to SDA. If that happens, we would have to turn to other solutions, which is getting together with some of the smaller parties,” he explained.

He said that the parties within the Bosnian bloc are the winning ones, along with SDA, HDZ BiH and SNSD and is of the opinion that the coalition should include HDZ and SNSD, as he asserts it would be wise to offer the winning parties a strong coalition, and he also announced a meeting in Mostar with HDZ representatives on Friday.

He also referred to the yesterday's session of the House of Representatives of FBiH Parliament, saying that to SDA everything that happened was contrary to the provisions of the Statute, which prescribes that the Chairperson and the Co-chairs are to be elected together, and that is why he announced that he would seek the opinion of the Constitutional Court regarding the election of Elvir Karajbić (SDP) as the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament.
