SARAJEVO, November 27 (FENA) - Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić and Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark met in Sarajevo today and discussed migrant situation and establishing operational cooperation between BiH and EUROPOL and agreed that situation is much better after conditions have been created and adequate locations found for accommodation of migrants.
Mektić emphasized that new government of USC and Bihac gave significant contribution, but he repeated there are still obstructions by representatives of Velika Kladuša municipality.
He emphasized it is necessary to improve coordination of flow of migrants through BiH to prevent crowded accommodation capacity in USC. He announced that representatives of Sarajevo Canton and USC, which are cantons with most migrants, will be invited to attend meetings of the Operations Headquarters for the migration issues.
Mektić informed Ambassador Wigemark they are waiting for technical conditions to be created for starting an operational cooperation and exchange of information with EUROPOL, Ministry of Security of BiH stated.
