SREBRENICA, November 25 (FENA) - Delegation of Parliament of Indonesia visited Potočari Memorial Center today, where they laid flowers at the memorial and honored genocide victims.
Delegation was led by Deputy President of the Indonesian Parliament Ahmad Muzani, who told FENA this is their first visit to Potočari and that they heard about the genocide that took place in this city.
“We are very sorry about the tragedy that happened and I extend my condolences to the survivors. Our visit has a deeper purpose, which is to learn about genocide that happened here,” said Muzani.
He added that Srebrenica should be a lesson to all of us.
“On behalf of people of the Republic of Indonesia, we give spiritual support to survivors of Srebrenica,” emphasized Muzani.
