SARAJEVO, November 21 (FENA) - Diplomatic bazaar will be held this December in Sarajevo, and the funds raised will be used to help children and youth across BiH.
It was emphasized at the press conference in the EU Info Center that this traditional winter family charity event is organized by members of the international community in BiH in cooperation with local community, and diverse program is adjusted to all ages.
Wife of the Italian Ambassador to BiH Annarita Lippiello reminded that record 200.000 KM was raised at the last-year's Bazaar and this money helped 20 charity organizations across BiH. She hopes this year they will collect even more.
She emphasized that participation of around 40 embassies and international organizations and around 70 presenters – private companies and NGOs gives a unique opportunity to taste exotic dishes and drinks, but also to buy unique handicrafts.
Wife of Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Žsofia Kusenda reminded that the entire proceeds from this-year's Bazaar is planned for associations which help children with different forms of difficulties, children without parental care and young people from vulnerable families.
Wife of the British Ambassador to BiH Martina Field Klisović announced diverse program for all ages and that she expects number of visitors to exceed last-year's 15 000.
Wife of Greek Ambassador to BiH Anthoussa Diakopoulos mentioned auction with interesting things such as Haggadah print or Afghanistani carpets, and a lot more for sport fans.
Members of the Organizing Committee of the Winter Diplomatic Bazaar are happy with results made at the last-year's Diplomatic Bazaar, and they hope results will be even better this year.
This-year's Diplomatic Bazaar will be held on Saturday, December 1 from 11 to 17:00 hours at Mirza Delibašić Hall at KSC Skenderija with support of many donors. Entrance is 5 KM and for children to the age of 10 free of charge.
