Mektić attending INTERPOL General Assembly in Dubai

DUBAI, November 20 (FENA) - Delegation of Ministry of Security of BiH, led by Minister Dragan Mektić, is taking part in the INTERPOL General Assembly in the United Arab Emirates.

Police chiefs and security experts from the entire world met in Dubai and discussed series of global security issues and challenges.

Key issues were strengthening cooperation in fight against terrorism, organized crime and cyber crime, as well encouraging innovations in law enforcement and connection between police administrations.

INTERPOL General Assembly will appoint new president of this organization.

Apart from Mektić, delegation of BiH includes Mirsad Vilić, Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH and Samir Rizvo, Assistant Minister of Security for International Cooperation and European Integration, Ministry of Security of BiH stated.
