BANJA LUKA, November 19 (FENA) - The transfer of power between the former entity president Milorad Dodik and the newly elected president Željka Cvijanović took place at the RS Palace in Banja Luka this evening.
Dodik pointed out that this is a completely different time from when he assumed the entity presidential mandate.
"I am honored to be the first RS president to have served two consecutive terms. I believe that it will be the same with Željka Cvijanović," said Dodik.
Cvijanović and the vice-presidents of the entity Ramiz Salkić and Josip Jerković today also took a solemn oath at the RS National Assembly, as well as a member of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik.
It was also announced this evening that Cvijanović would tomorrow nominate a candidate for prime minister-designate to form the new entity government, the SNSD candidate, Radovan Višković.
