SARAJEVO, November 6 (FENA) - Sarajevo Unlimited Forum 2018, the biggest regional forum of innovations, technology and entrepreneurship was solemnly opened in the capital city of BiH last night.
Topic of the third edition of the Forum is innovation and technological development of competitive industries within countries of Southeastern and Central Europe.
Forum is also appealing due to initiative of countries from the aforementioned area and People's Republic of China within the 16+1 Initiative, which is why hundreds of foreign delegates came to Sarajevo, dozens of companies, representatives of state institutions, governments and ministries in charge of development, technology, economy, science and innovations, research and science institutions, representatives of academic community, corporations, technological parts and creative hubs and start-ups.
Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka addressed at the opening ceremony and emphasized importance of stimulation of development of young entrepreneurship as a way to keep perspective workforce in their city and country.
Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Chen Bo also addressed the guests and emphasized the role of the Council of Ministers of BiH, that is, of Ministry of Communication and Transport in organizing this event.
Chen Bo added that innovation has become the main source of economic growth in many countries.
There is a record number of Chinese companies and institutions at this-year's forum and the Ambassador expects the contacts established during this event will enhance cooperation between her country and BiH in several areas.
Third Sarajevo Unlimited Forum is being held on November 5-7.
