BANJA LUKA, October 28 (FENA) - Government of Republika Srpska issued a decision today to declare October 28 a Mourning Day over murder of two police officers, members of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior.
“Government and citizens of Republika Srpska extend their condolences to family members for their loss,” PR Office of the Government stated.
They noted that flags will be flown at half-mast on all buildings of public institutions in Republika Srpska.
Unknown perpetrators opened fire at a police patrol that caught them stealing a motor vehicle on Friday morning in Sarajevo settlement “Alipašino Polje – C”, near the "Bingo" shopping center.
Police officer Adis Šehović was killed at the scene and his colleague Davor Vujinović succumbed to his injuries hours later.
