ZENICA, October 11 (FENA) - HIFA Oil company today officially opened a modern Liquid Fuel Terminal in Zenica, which will supply buyers from BiH and the region.
The ceremony was also attended by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizić, who cut the ribbon together with a member of the Management Board of that company, Kenan Ahmetlić.
“My dear friends, owners of the HIFA Group, I wish you great business success, because your success is also success of BiH. What we consider to be economic success of BiH is opening of new jobs, and we thank the business people of this country,” said Zvizdić, who added that such projects contribute to the key priorities of BiH development.
The owner of the company and General Manager Izudin Ahmetlić said that they opened three new petrol stations this year, the fourth will be opened in 20 days in Podgorica, and by the end of the year they plan to open another one. The terminal, said Ahmetlić, represents the crown of the company's continuous development.
“This terminal represents the crown of our work and doing business and we consider it to be strategic. In one part because of the geographic position and in another because of the capacity it has. We knew that this was a project that surpassed our needs, but that it will not be big enough to meet the needs of BiH,” Ahmetlić emphasized.
The terminal in Zenica has a capacity of 13,000,000 liters or 12,840 cubic meters of volume, with four above-ground and 12 underground reservoirs.
“The terminal will be supplied exclusively by railway, which implies a contribution to the development of rail transport in BiH. The terminal is built in accordance with state-of-the-art technologies, but also this is a terminal that will be of great importance to the BiH market,” said Venan Hadžiselimović, the Executive Manager of the company, who underlined that everything is automated without any option of mechanical dispensing.
