Cormack: It is very important that citizens vote

FENA Darinka Mitrović

SARAJEVO, October 7 (FENA) - The U.S. Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack stated in Sarajevo today it is very important that citizens vote, for their opinion and voice to be heard and that they elect leaders that focus on solving the problems.

“In order to help the elections to be fair, the U.S. Embassy sent many observation teams to polling stations across BiH. As always, the U.S. Embassy is fully committed to supporting the election and democratic process in BiH,” added Cormack.

According to her, citizens of BiH clearly showed they are for the Euro-Atlantic integration and institutions so BiH could move forward.

“You know the EU and the USA have worked on all parties and sides meeting to reach the solution and what I would like to say is that it is very important to act fast after the results are announced and to form the government that can work on solving those issues,” added Cormack.
