SARAJEVO, October 5 (FENA) – The Peace Support Operations Training Center (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina has today officially received a document on being admitted to the membership of the Network of the European Security and Defense College (ESDC).
Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marina Pendeš was presented with the document by Director of ESDC, Dirk Dubois, who pointed out that, this is a symbolic but important step towards bringing BiH closer to the European Union's efforts towards establish peace, stability and the rule of law throughout the world.
"To have PSOTC as a partner of our Network is important because it is a center with good reputation that offers high-quality training, which has already been recognized by other international organizations," Dubois said.
Pendeš said that today's ceremony shows how much the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, as well as PSOTC, have accomplished since their foundation to receive such a certificate.
She emphasized that PSOTC already has the certificates of the United Nations, NATO, USA, and a number of universities and academies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
