Čović admitted into full membership in International Engineering Academy

SARAJEVO, September 26 (FENA) - The Austrian Society of Engineers and Architects in Vienna hosted a formal reception in honor of the admitting into the full membership in the International Engineering Academy of a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović.

The host of the reception was President of the Austrian Society of Engineers Heinz Brandl, who said that the reception was a way to give recognition to the academic career of Dragan Čović, and the contribution he has given to the development of technical sciences.

The Austrian Society of Engineers and Architects was founded in 1848 in Vienna and is one of the three oldest institutions of its kind in the world.

The basic tasks of the society are to support and promote science and research, interdisciplinary activities and innovations, stated the BiH Presidency.
