SARAJEVO, September 25 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mladen Ivanić, received today in Banja Luka leading expert on genocide research and president of the International Conference on Jasenovac, Srboljub Živanović.
Ivanić and Živanović talked about the necessity of fostering a culture of remembrance.
The two of them emphasized that in the past century the Serbs people had been exposed to oppression and that the institutionalized approach is needed to foster a culture of remembrance.
They noted that these issues need a special attention in the school curricula, which is not the case today, stated the Public Relations Office of the Presidency of BiH.
