SARAJEVO, September 20 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Šarović today, in a conversation with entrepreneurs at the Business Plus conference said that the main problem of Bosnia and Herzegovina is not external barriers, but precisely the internal ones.
“Slow process of making decisions and failure to keep up with the best is the key problem of our system. While others are in fifth gear, we are constantly in the third or fourth, and that's what I struggle with every day and what I'm trying to change persistently,” said Šarović.
The minister assessed the conference as important precisely because business people are the key stakeholders, adding that "unlike politicians, they have no barriers, because they know what the problems and obstacles in business are in our country".
“The key role of the institutions and the government is to be in the service of businesses by making decisions in their favor, eliminating barriers and opening up new markets,” said the minister.
The Business Plus conference was held today in Sarajevo with the aim of bringing together the economy and government representatives to openly discuss the problems and ways to solve them, stated the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
