SARAJEVO, September 20 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of BiH Marina Pendeš met today with Ambassador of FR Germany Christiane Hohmann and talked to her about current topics in BiH MoD and AF, and bilateral military cooperation of these two countries, which is on a high level and which is confirmed by the projects that have been implemented so far.
Meeting was also attended by the newly appointed Military Attaché of FR Germany Colonel Kai-Uwe Näpel and representatives of company “Airbus” for South East Europe.
Minister Pendeš used the opportunity to mention numerous projects that have been implemented with the help from Government of FR Germany and the support this country has been giving to BiH towards meeting Euro-Atlantic standards, that is, creating conditions for maintaining stability and security in the country and beyond.
They also talked about implementation of document "Defense Review", with emphasis on equipping and modernization of BiH AF in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement of BiH and possibilities after activation of the Membership Action Plan (MAP) in NATO.
Ambassador Hohmann said she expects the cooperation to continue, Ministry of Defense of BiH stated.
