SARAJEVO, September 13 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak met yesterday with French Senator Olivier Cadic and talked to him about relations in the region, especially conclusion of negotiations between Serbia and Kosovo.
Crnadak informed the senator about the EU accession process of BiH, with emphasis on reform processes and measures from the Reform Agenda, stressing it is of great importance to BiH to reform institutions and prepare the entire society for future membership in the EU. That includes strengthening of economy, establishment of rule of law, fight against corruption and securing stability and security. He emphasized it is crucial not to lose perspective of membership of the region in the EU.
Senator Cadic said France supports the European integration of BiH and the Western Balkan region and added he personally is a great advocate of faster accession of BiH and the entire region to the EU.
Meeting was also attended by Ambassador of the Republic of France to BiH Guillaume Rousson, BiH MFA stated.
