BiH Foreign Ministry: No agreement with OSA to allow access to intelligence

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, August 30 (FENA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina has rejected allegations that have appeared in the media in recent days, according to which there is an agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH and the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSA) which enables the Ministry to obtain all necessary information about the case of Russian writer and foreign battlefields fighter Prilepin who was banned from entering BiH, the Ministry said.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH informs the public that such an agreement does not exist and that the allegations that appeared in the media are untrue.

The only agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the OSA is the one that covers technical issues, such as the distribution of costs and ways of using vehicles in some cases related to the activities of OSA members outside BiH.

Due to the protection of classified information, we are unable to publish the content of the agreement in question, but there is definitely no possibility of providing information that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH has requested from the Executive Intelligence Committee according to the provisions of this agreement, stated the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release.
