SARAJEVO, August 27 (FENA) - Minister for Faith of Great Britain Lord Bourne will visit Sarajevo and Srebrenica.
During his visit, which is organized by the British humanitarian organization "Remembering Srebrenica", Lord Bourne will hear testimonies of survivors of genocide and ethnic cleansing, meet with civic and spiritual leaders and pay respects to victims of genocide at the memorial center and cemetery Srebrenica-Potočari.
Lord Bourne, who is arriving in Sarajevo today, will visit various religious facilities which show religious diversity of the city.
"Tragedy of Srebrenica gives vital lessons for communities across Great Britain and it serves as a constant reminder of importance of reaction to hate and fanaticism, where and whenever they appear. I am thankful for the opportunity to visit Srebrenica and meet with survivors and honor those who were killed. It will be very valuable to hear how different religious groups can work together on rehabilitation of their communities," said Lord Bourne ahead of his visit to Sarajevo and Srebrenica, British humanitarian organization stated.
