BIHAĆ, August 26 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović visited today migrant families with children, currently residing at Sedra Hotel in Cazin.
Izetbegović handed over a donation for the most vulnerable categories of migrants who have been residing in the Una-Sana Canton (USC) for several months and got informed about their conditions and accommodation.
“These migrants are adequately accommodated and receive appropriate care. They are satisfied and also grateful to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and especially to people here who help them, who are facilitating their stay and assist them in all possible ways,” said Izetbegović.
He added that the status of migrants in downtown Bihać and in Velika Kladuša should be adequately addressed in the shortest possible period.
There are 152 people currently living in the Recreational and Tourism Center "Sedra", of whom half are children. The canton and the state are working on facilitating additional accommodation capacities.
