Five illegal migrants placed under supervision at the Immigration Center

SARAJEVO, August 17 (FENA) – Decisions have been issued for expulsion of five persons, citizens of Libya, Afghanistan and Pakistan with the ban period of three years from entering BiH and they have been placed under supervision at the Immigration Center in Istočno Sarajevo, Service for Foreigners' Affairs stated.  

Members of this service and police of MoI of Una-Sana Canton conducted inspection of status of residence of migrants in area of Bihać yesterday in a joint and coordinated operation.

Primary aim of the operation was to control and determine residence status of migrants who are temporarily situated in this area and to find items that could endanger security of citizens in this area.

There have been 10.866 registered migrants from January 1st to August 15th this year, out of which 10.046 expressed intention for international protection in BiH and more than 700 illegal migrants have been expelled by Service for Foreigners' Affairs, the institution stated.
