SARAJEVO, August 16 (FENA) - Local community fair under the name "Golden Colors" opened today in the protected landscape area of Bijambare, organized by the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas of the Sarajevo Canton.
The fair is open until September 16 and during that time visitors will be able to see and buy food products that reflect the tradition of this region.
“Exhibitors are mostly members of the women’s association "Ruža" from Srednje and beekeepers from Ilijaš, told FENA an expert associate for promotion and marketing of the PI Protected Natural Areas of the SC Mustafa Zvizdić.
The fair offers various products such as homemade juices, jams, buckwheat products, buckwheat flour, various types of honey and homemade pasta.
The opening of the "Golden Colors" fair was attended by a large number of visitors, mostly foreign tourists.
The "Golden Colors" is being held as part of the international "Eco Karst" project, in cooperation with the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of the Sarajevo Canton.
