SARAJEVO, August 15 (FENA) - Director of the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šerif Isović and his associates met today with USAID Mission Director for BiH Peter Duffy and discussed the results of the cooperation and activities in the Tax Administration with the support of USAID.
They presented the most significant results of the work of the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the data that confirm the successful cooperation and complexity of the information and technical system, which was largely supported by USAID and its representatives.
Some of the processes improved thanks to USAID support are the implementation of the Law on a Single System for the Registration, Control and Collection of Contributions, introduction of issuing of online documents, improved inspection control, upgrading the online system for monitoring games of chance, the ability to identify taxpayers who do not submit tax returns or do not execute their tax obligations.
The Tax Administration of FBiH has thanked USAID for its support so far and expressed the need to extend cooperation and continue support with a view to even more efficient work and the improvement of information-technical upgrades for law enforcement implemented by the Tax Administration.
The FBiH Tax Administration emphasized that USAID has provided support not only to the Tax Administration but also to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole, i.e. to all its citizens, whose end result is a higher collection of public revenues and a better quality of life for citizens in all segments of life.
