SARAJEVO, August 9 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Šarović met today with Ambassador of Romania to BiH to Dan Constantinescu.
The two officials agreed that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania have a satisfactory foreign trade cooperation, and that the BiH exports to the country is steadily growing.
“Exports to Romania in 2017 are higher by roughly 30 percent compared to the previous year, Minister Šarović pointed out at the meeting, adding that the export growth trend has continued this year and that in the first quarter of 2018 there was an increase of around 40 percent.
The two paid special attention to expanding the investments in BiH. Ambassador of Romania stressed that Romania wants to further strengthen cooperation with BiH through the linking of chambers of commerce and entrepreneurs.
Minister Šarović received an invitation for participation in the panel within a large Business Forum "The Three Sea Initiative", which will be held in Bucharest in mid-September, aiming to connect the EU and the Western Balkans / EU Eastern Partnership countries,” stated the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
