BIHAĆ, August 3 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Una-Sana Canton Husein Rošić visited today the ‘Dr Irfan Ljubijankić’ Cantonal Hospital and the injured in yesterday's gas leak accident at the Una Kostela Hydro Power Plant.
“First of all, I want to thank al the doctors on the great effort they showed during the rescue operation. Four persons received medical help and they are now out of life-threatening situation; the same situation in with the fourth employee of the HPP.
I also visited the Hydro Power Plant this morning, where the investigation is still taking place to shed light on this tragic accident.
Workers' safety must be a priority for every public company and I expect that the investigation will reveal any possible omission or shortcomings in the operation,” said Rošić.
Rošić also extended condolences to the families of the employees that were killed in the accident and said that the day of the funeral of the three men from Bihać will be declared a day of mourning in the Una-Sana Canton.
