RS government appoints its coordinating body to monitor movement of migrants

BANJA LUKA, August 3 (FENA) - The Government of RS today took note of the Information on the need to establish its coordinating body for monitoring the movement of illegal migrants through the territory of this BiH entity.

The government adopted a decision on the appointment of the coordinating body, consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Interior, Director of the Police, as chairperson and members from the police administrations for the fight against terrorism and extremism, the police administration, the ministries for refugees and displaced persons, health and social protection, administration and local self-government and finances.

Members of the coordination body for monitoring the movement of illegal migrants through RS will also be the representatives of the Civil Protection Administration, the Red Cross and the Federation of Municipalities and Towns, as well as local communities, announced the entity government.

“The coordination body’s task will be aimed at monitoring the entry, retention of migrants and their faster movement through RS,” said the entity government.
