Pendeš receives NATO HQ Sarajevo Commander Bissell in an inaugural visit

SARAJEVO, August 3 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marina Pendeš received yesterday the newly appointed  NATO HQ Commander in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Marty J. Bissell, with whom she discussed the activities of the Ministry and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina , as well as the long-standing successful cooperation with NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo.

Pendeš welcomed Brigadier General Bissell, and congratulated her on the appointment to this duty.

“I consider the cooperation with NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo very important since we have made a significant step forward from the very beginning in the MoD and the Armed Forces, and our cooperation is at the highest level,” said Pendeš.

Bissell expressed for hope for the cooperation in the future, pointing out that she supports the goals of the MoD and the AFBiH, stated the Public Relations Office of the MoD BiH.
