SARAJEVO, August 1 (FENA) - Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina Josip Grubeša said today that the revised State War Crimes Processing Strategy was not discussed at today's session of the BiH Council of Ministers.
He told reporters that he insisted on both, the Internal Affairs Committee and the Council of Ministers for it to be included in the agenda and to be discussed.
“However, since it was not included, I received informal answers that some parts of the strategy do not satisfy certain political entities and their positions. For this reason, I will talk with representatives of several ministries, to see what parts of the strategy should be improved, in order to put it before the Council of Ministers of BiH as soon as possible,” said Grubeša.
After reporters noted that a number of international organizations in BiH insist that the strategy should be passed promptly, Grubeša stated that it has happened on several occasions that "international organizations warn us about certain things".
“As I have heard, certain victims’ associations have objections. The Ministry of Justice wants to complete the process as soon as possible. We will not delay it,” said Minister Grubeša.
