Orange Day in Sarajevo, marking the fight against violence against women

SARAJEVO, July 26 (FENA) - Representatives of the Institute for the Development of Youth ‘KULT’, last evening, in front of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heartin Sarajevo, performed a choreography with a group Zumba dance.

They marked the Orange Day - the day of the fight against violence against women and girls.

“Considering that Bosnia and Herzegovina is facing this problem as a growing trend, we decided to remind the citizens, especially women and girls, not to be ashamed to say and report that they are or have been victims of violence,” told FENA said Anida Skenderagić on behalf of KULT.

She said that by organizing this event, they also wanted to send out a message to the competent authorities to carry out activities more intensively in order better apply all legislation in the domain of violence against women and make sure that all forms of violence are prevented in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
