SARAJEVO, July 18 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's session adopted several proposals for agreements that strengthen cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
A proposal of a cooperation agreement on protection against natural and other disasters between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been established.
The cooperation will, among other things, include education and training of active rescue workers and mutual assistance in the event of natural and civil disasters and mitigating of the consequences.
The proposal of the agreement will be submitted to the BiH Presidency for further proceedings, and the BiH Security Minister has been proposed as a signatory on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A proposal of a cooperation agreement on cultural cooperation between the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan has also been established.
The two countries in this manner encourage and support cooperation between cultural institutions, organization of joint scientific conferences, exchange of students, professors and researchers and will work in the area of protection, restoration, renovation and conservation of immovable cultural heritage.
Also, the BiH CoM has established and will send to the Presidency of BiH a proposal for a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the veterinary sector, said the Council of Ministers of BiH.
