SARAJEVO, July 9 (FENA) - Representatives of the Democratic Front and the Civic Alliance today submitted to the Central Election Commission the lists of candidates for the upcoming general elections in 2018.
“Today, we submitted the candidates’ lists to the Central Election Commission BiH for the general elections in 2018, for the Coalition ‘Democratic Front - Civic Alliance - Željko Komšić: BiH Wins,” the Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Front Đenan Đonlagić told reporters.
He added that they submitted a list of candidates for all levels of government, with a total of about 500 candidates.
“We can proudly say that we have five women, the bearers of the candidates’ lists for certain levels of government,” Đonlagić said.
“Our general political goal is already well-known, and that is not to allow the duo Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović to get to the Presidency of BiH. Since our joint candidate for the BiH Presidency member is a representative of the Croat people, Željko Komšić, we will do everything to defeat Dragan Čović as the HDZ-HNS candidate in the Federation of BiH.
We absolutely believe that BiH citizens will recognize the danger to BiH posed by these two and in this respect support Željko Komšić,” Đonlagić said.
