SARAJEVO, July 5 (FENA) - Federation Operations Headquarters for Migration is taking part in the state Operations Headquarters for Migrations in BiH and is implementing emergency measures for suppression of illegal migrations, within which a handover of tents donated by Austria was held at the FBiH Government today.
Head of the Headquarters Izudin Livadić stated today that 7128 illegal migrants have been reported from January 1 to July 2 according to data of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs.
Government gave consent to provide two locations, Ušivak barracks in Hadžići and Agrokomerc facilities in Velika Kladuša, to solve the problem of accommodation capacity of migrants.
"Austria decided to donate 53 tents to BiH, which have the capacity to accommodated 280 persons. Tents are fully equipment so we hope we can help BiH in solving this migrant situation," said Johann Bezdeka, head of Civil Protection, Crisis Management and Disaster Protection at the Ministry of Interior of Austria.
Director of the Civil Protection Administration of FBiH Fahrudin Solak thanked him for the donation, adding that tents will be set up at all locations.
