BIHAĆ, July 4 (FENA) - If Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić presents a specific plan for migrants in area of Bihać and Velika Kladuša during tomorrow's visit, councilmen and the Mayor of Bihać will cancel protests announced for Friday in Sarajevo, Mayor of Bihać Šuhret Fazlić confirmed.
"We do not want to make any type of campaign. It is not in our interest to protest. Minister Mektić confirmed his visit based on the decision of the Council of Ministers and I hope he will present a clear program for the migrant issue in our city, as well as deadlines and a guarantee who will fulfill those commitments. If that happens, we will not protest in Sarajevo," emphasized Fazlić.
Mayor of Bihać confirmed that the city is running out of resources.
"Security situation is endangered, which is greatly affecting our tourist season. Incidents among migrants are becoming more frequent. I cannot and will not keep telling my fellow citizens that I cannot do anything about it," said the Mayor of Bihać.
Minister Mektić will also meet with Husein Rošić, Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton in Bihać tomorrow.
