SARAJEVO, June 26 (FENA) - House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament began a thematic session on challenges and perspectives of the Federation of BiH on the European path.
"Session is not attended by deputies of HDZ-HNS Caucus, not because they are against the EU and NATO, but because there was an outvote when the law on electoral units was adopted in the House of Representatives, said Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives Mladen Bošković before the session.
He and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of FBiH Jelka Milićević, also from HDZBiH, attended the meeting of representatives of both houses of Parliament of FBiH, Government and the international community with member of the European Parliament Tanja Fajon.
After that, none of representatives of HDZ-HNS stayed to attend the thematic session that was opened by Chairman of the House of Representatives Edin Mušić.
He said that the Parliament had the obligation to answer a set of questions from the Questionnaire of the European Commission, which it did within the deadline.
"House of Representatives also adopted series of reform laws towards fulfilling commitments in the European integration process," said Mušić.
He thanked Tanja Fajon, who is a true friend of BiH, adding he hopes she will continue supporting our country.
"Thanks to her initiative and persistent lobbying a unanimous decision was made at the meeting of interior ministers of 27 EU countries on abolition of visas for BiH citizens in December 2010," said Mušić.
Even though his attendance was announced, the session is not attended by president of the Parliamentary Forum for European Integration of BiH Nikola Lovrinović, who is a member of HDZ BiH.
