CEC meets with members of ODIHR Mission and Congress of Authorities of CE

SARAJEVO, June 25 (FENA) - Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH met respectively with delegation of Needs Assessment Mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and representatives of Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, the CEC stated.

Needs Assessment Mission was established to assess the pre-election environment and preparations for elections. Based on assessment, the Mission will give recommendations if and which activities the ODIHR will organize for the upcoming General Elections in BiH.

President and members of the CEC BiH informed them about all aspects of the election process in BiH.

After supervising local elections in October 2016 in BiH and after Mission for determining facts on Mostar in June 2017, Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe formed a Reflection Group on Mostar.

The Group also met with president and members of the CEC.
