SARAJEVO, June 20 (FENA) - A five-day training course for teachers/mentors of practical classes in the selected companies organized by the German Agency for International Cooperation and Development (GIZ) began today in Goražde.
The program is implemented within the GIZ project "Vocational Education in BiH", which, in cooperation with representatives of the businesses and educational institutions, aims to improve vocational education, while also substantially contributing to the development of education system that is oriented towards labor market.
The education of mentors who, as leaders of the educational process in the said companies, would assume the responsibility for students in practical teaching is one of the components of the project.
The aim is to strengthen the pedagogical competencies of the mentors and their skills in working with students in practical teaching.
The training is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Youth, Science, Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Economy and the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Chamber of Commerce, stated the GIZ.
