Dodik: We'll have to control NGOs, donations they get and what they do with it

PRNJAVOR, June 10 (FENA) - President of the entity of RS Milorad Dodik believes that this entity should adopt the law on the public work of non-profit organizations.

This law could be adopted by the end of the summer and, as Dodik added, "there is nothing unusual about it, as many other countries have a similar practice."

He is of the opinion that "it is clear to everyone that various organizations in the region are given funds that are directed towards the destabilization of society as a whole, rather than the development of democracy, as they propagate it."

"Nobody is saying that they cannot continue doing what they have been doing so far, only it will have to be controlled from the aspect of informing the public about who got what amount of money and what they do with it," Dodik told reporters in Prnjavor.

He dismissed the claims by the High Representative in BiH, Valentin Inzko, that SNSD and HDZ are working against the BiH institutions, adding that the mandate of the High Representative should have ended a long time ago.

Dodik said that he did not know who asked for the involvement of additional British soldiers in BiH, but believes that this is not necessary and that the RS authorities have not received any information about it.

"If it was done independently by the British, then it is a case of meddling in the internal affairs of the country and it can be characterized as an act of intrusion," said Dodik.
