SARAJEVO, June 10 (FENA) -  As part of the blocking of main roads in BiH as part of the activity to protest the increase in petrol and diesel prices in recent months, the citizens with their automobiles blocked the M17 main road as well, says a reporter of N1 TV.

Roads in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Banja Luka and other cities were blocked simultaneously.

After Tuzla, Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Jelah and other cities, road transport operators and participants in traffic blocked the M17 main road.

Convoys several kilometers long were formed between Doboj and Žepče.

Because of the third increase in fuel prices this year, drivers stopped their cars for one hour.

In the past few days, drivers across Serbia expressed their revolt in the same manner.

RS President Milorad Dodik reacted at the announcement of the protest and said he would ask the police to remove cars from the streets.

"You cannot stop the traffic at any given spot on the road, you are posing threats to others and are stopping the traffic," Dodik said, adding that every protest must be announced in advance.
