SREBRENICA, May 25 (FENA) - The 15th cultural, sports and business manifestation "Days of Srebrenica 2018" officially opened last night with the concert of the band “Garavi sokak” and it will continue with the rich program until June 2.
At the opening of the event, the citizens were addressed by Mayor of the Municipality of Srebrenica, Mladen Grujičić, who said that this event was aimed at socializing and communion and sending positive stories from Srebrenica.
“We are continuing with activities related to the promotion of Srebrenica in the context of the European City of Culture in 2024. In addition to employment and job creation, the local government also provides special support for the development of sports, culture and tourism potentials, as well as the promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of our municipality,” Mr. Grujičić said.
During the "Days of Srebrenica", visitors will enjoy exhibitions, book promotions, performances of folklore ensembles, and within the sports section competitions in football, basketball, volleyball, chess and other sports will be held.
As part of the Srebrenica event, a concert of the band "Hari Mata Hari" will be held on June 2 at the sports playground of the Secondary School Center Srebrenica.
