SARAJEVO, May 24 (FENA) - An exhumation procedure, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, was carried out at two separate locations in the village of Gornja Bukvica in the municipality of Goražde, where incomplete remains of three persons were exhumed.
It is assumed that these are Serbs victims killed during the past war.
The skeletal remains were transferred to the ossuary "Sveti Marko" in East Sarajevo, where forensic and medical examination will be carried out to identify the cause of death and bone samples will be taken in order to conduct DNA analysis to determine the identity of the victims.
The exhumation process on the ground was supervised by the Investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons in BiH, a doctor of forensic medicine, the workers and mechanization, as well as the police officers of the MoI of Podrinje Canton.
