FBiH Govt. adopts water management plans for the Sava and Adriatic Sea basins

SARAJEVO, May 24 (FENA) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today adopted the mid-term water management plans for the waters of the Sava and the Adriatic Sea basins in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina until 2021, and will submit them to the Council of Ministers of BiH for further procedure and adoption at the state level.

The FBiH Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry will inform the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of RS about the adoption of the plans and publish them on its official web sites.

Water management agencies are obliged to prepare action plans for implementation of the plans in order to achieve the defined objectives of water management and to harmonize them with all bodies and institutions identified for each of the envisaged measures, in particular in securing financial resources and the dynamic of implementation.
