SARAJEVO, May 23 (FENA) - BiH Security Minister Dragan Mektić said today in Sarajevo that he had scheduled a meeting of interior ministers from countries in the region for June 7 to discuss migrant-related issues.
“I hope the ministers will respond, come to Sarajevo, to solve the issue of these illegal migrations across the Western Balkans. I believe that we can solve this problem far better if we sit together,” Mr. Mektić said.
He added that this was the first meeting of this kind since the migration crisis had started.
He noted that he also expected a concrete date of the visit to the Frontex headquarters in Poland very soon, adding that they are in constant cooperation and coordination with the international organizations working in BiH.
