SARAJEVO, May 22 (FENA) - Orchestra and choir of the United States European Command held a concert at the Army Hall in Sarajevo last night alongside the army orchestra of Armed Forces of BiH.
They performed traditional compositions of the two countries and works of world known stars, conducted by Captain Taylor Criswell and Colonel Tomislav Sušac.
"We are happy to have performed with this band of the U.S. Army for the first time. This is the first joint project we have with the U.S. Army. It is a fantastic thing considering we can learn a lot from the top American musicians, who have excellent organization and support," said Sušac.
During the three-day preparations for the concert, conductor of the orchestra and choir of the Command of U.S. Armed Forces Taylor Criswell said that members of the military orchestra of Armed Forces of BiH turned out to be true hosts.
"They showed great hospitality and we have enjoyed every moment we spent together. Music is a wonderful way to make friends, bridges and spread cultural connection between people. I hope everyone enjoyed the concert tonight," Criswell told FENA.
