SARAJEVO, May 20 (FENA) - Minister of Communication and Transport of BiH Ismir Jusko and Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Arslan signed a Letter of Intent at the BiH Presidency today on enhancing and expanding cooperation in area of transport and infrastructure between these two ministries.
Letter states that both countries will enhance cooperation in area of transport and infrastructure, encourage investments in transport infrastructure and provide additional incentive for development of transport network in the Western Balkan region, develop mutual cooperation in areas of rail, road, maritime, air and intermodal transport and that they will consider a possibility of cooperation in building of Sarajevo-Belgrade road through joint coordinated activities and in cooperation with competent bodies in BiH.
Minister Jusko stated after the signing that further activities in terms of building of a modern road and other projects will be implemented in coordination and in accordance with jurisdictions with the entity institutions, Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH stated.
