SARAJEVO, May 17 (FENA) - Representatives of secondary and higher education institutions from Beijing presented at the education fair in Sarajevo today possibilities of scholarships for BiH students and student exchange and stated they are ready to enroll their students to BiH universities and secondary schools.
Goal of the gathering is to promote international education, quality of education in Beijing and bring it closer to BiH students so they can see advantages of studying, but also enhance cooperation between students and professors on both sides and promote cooperation between the two states.
Head of the Synology Department of Faculty of Philosophy of University in Istočno Sarajevo Bojana Pavlović stated that thanks to projects of the Chinese Government, many of those universities from Beijing offer scholarships to foreign students for programs in Chinese and English language.
"Apart from students who study Chinese, students from other departments can apply as well. That is the biggest advantage of gatherings such as today's," she said.
Host of the Fair of Chinese educational institutions from Beijing is Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, and organizer is the Beijing International Education Exchange Center, with co-organizers Interlingua from Sarajevo and Beijing WECO International Education and Culture Institution.
