SARAJEVO, May 10 (FENA) - The House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament has adopted in urgent proceeding the proposed amendments to the budget of the Federation of BiH for 2018, which envisages that the unspent funds from 2017 in the amount of 107 million KM be allocated for the construction of motorways and expressways to the FBiH Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The funds should be made available as soon as possible so that they can be put to use in the realization of the planned infrastructure projects implemented by the public enterprise the Motorways of the Federation BiH, Mostar.
The proposed amendments also have to be supported by the House of Representatives.
In addition to the unspent funds from 2017 in the amount 107 million KM, the Finance Minister Jelka Milićević said that 87,207,037 KM has been allocated to the Federation because the state has fulfilled all the conditions from the policy matrix under the DPL project with the World Bank, while 97,214,772 KM have been allocated to the budget of the FBiH since the previously agreed measures from the letter of intent with the IMF have also been fulfilled.
