HR Inzko to submit a report on BiH at the UN Security Council today

SARAJEVO, May 8 (FENA) - The High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko is visiting New York, where he will present the 53rd regular report on peacekeeping implementation before the United Nations Security Council today.

During his official visit to the United States, Mr. Inzko met with US officials and during the meetings stressed the importance of engagement of the European Union and the US to help BiH politicians in order to find a solution for the implementation of the decision of the BiH Constitutional Court in the Ljubić case.

During the meetings, High Representative Valentin Inzko also emphasized the negative rhetoric that is, as he said, additionally poisoning and hindering the already tense pre-election atmosphere, the Office of the High Representative (OHR) in BiH stated earlier.
