SARAJEVO, May 2 (FENA) - Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina have departed to the United States to participate in the military exercise codenamed “Diligent Watch”.
The exercise will be held in the State of Maryland, organized by the National Guard of the state, with the goal of practicing coordination, operational relations, plans and procedures for emergency situations and natural and other disasters and accidents.
Representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH participate in this exercise within the framework of the State Partnership Program between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State of Maryland.
In addition to the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives from the member states of the A-5 Initiative - Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia, will also participate in the exercise, and experiences and lessons learned from exercises will serve the countries participants to plan and organize a similar exercises at the regional level.
The exercise will be held in Baltimore from May 6 to 11, 2018, and preparations for the exercise begin on May 2, announced by the BiH Ministry of Defense.
