Salkić gives support to the construction of genocide museum in Birmingham

FENA Press release

BANJA LUKA, April 29 (FENA) - Vice President of RS, Ramiz Salkić has supported the idea of building a museum of genocide against Bosniaks in the UN protected zone of Srebrenica in the British city of Birmingham.

This idea, Salkić stressed, is a guarantor for the preservation of truth, which is something that benefits all mankind.

“Making this idea come true should be helped by organizations and businesses from the homeland to show that we are aware and that we can invest in the future outside our homeland. We have to remind ourselves of the genocide and crimes so that they never happen again. In addition to remembrance, we must look to the future as well. That is why I call upon all of you, no matter where you live, to think about your homeland, even when the homeland might not be thinking about you. We should never give up on our homeland.

The generations of our ancestors have defeated the enemies of our homeland in the past, and if we are strong and stand together, we will succeed as well. Therefore, let us come together, devoted to our homeland because we do not have any other one,” emphasized Salkić, who visited the Bosnian House in Birmingham and met with the students of the Bosnian school and other BiH nationals during his visit.
