FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, April 27 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović received Ahmed Maiteeq, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya.

The collocutors exchanged views on the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Libya.

Mr. Maiteeq, who is leading the Libyan delegation at the Sarajevo Business Forum, informed Chairman Izetbegović that the situation in Libya was stabilizing, which opens up space for more intensive economic cooperation, which would benefit from the simplification of the visa regime.

The collocutors emphasized that the economic ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Libya in the previous decades were extremely strong, and they expressed expectations that they would be renewed in the same capacities as before.

Chairman Izetbegović welcomed the stabilization of the situation in Libya and wished the Libyan people to build their country in peace, the BiH Presidency stated.
